South East 4x4 Response are a Charity Registered in England (1168367) and provide around 80 fully trained, police vetted and insured volunteers from all walks of life who each donate the use of their own 4x4 vehicles, fuel, equipment and time freely in support of their community. Each and every responder is trained in first aid, vehicle recovery, radio communications, navigation, off road driving and dynamic risk assessment with further specialist & role specific certified training available such as evidence handling, water awareness, swift water rescue and amateur radio licensing.

South East 4x4 Response is a member of 4x4 Response UK, the Kent Resilience Forum and the Kent Voluntary Sector Emergency Group headed up by Kent County Council’s Emergency planning team.

Any donation received will be used toward offsetting the Charity's operating costs and funding the purchase of specialist rescue equipment and radio communications for our responders, Our Charity is run by Trustees on a strictly volunteer basis and they are not paid for the work they do with regard to the Charity.

Donations and sponsorship are vital to both our Charity and the work done in support of our communities, we are entirely self-funded and rely on the generosity of donors and fund raising events throughout the year to provide a 24 / 7 / 365 service.

South East 4x4 Response provide round the clock assistance as required to Kent County Council, Medway Council, Kent Police, NHS and Kent Search and Rescue to name but a few with anything from emergency tree clearance by chainsaw trained operatives to driving Doctors and Nurses to work during adverse conditions.

South East 4x4 Response provide Category 1 Responders from the Kent Resilience Forum with emergency logistic support 24/7/365 by responding to various incidents from humanitarian aid requests such as assisting with the provision of water to drivers queuing to access the Port of Dover during the recent issues to the flooding in Yalding where we assisted with the emergency evacuation of stranded home owners and the provision of sand bags to prevent further property damage.

South East 4x4 Response also provide assistance to various Charities and Organisations at some of their fundraising events such as the Cancer Research UK Race for Life, Wounded Warriors Bike Ride, British Heart Foundation London to Brighton 100K Trek, Danson Park Fireworks and many more besides.
